Welcome to the 2016-20167 school year! I am so excited to be your child's teacher!
My name is Lindsay Buehner and this will be my second year teaching at Plymouth Elementary. I graduated from the University of Utah with my K-6 teaching license and ESL (English as a Second Language) Endorsement. With my ESL Endorsement, I am able to teach students who are learning English, or speak multiple languages at home. I also graduated with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies.
I love to teach and I am especially excited to be teaching Fourth Grade! As a young child, my desire of becoming a teacher was planted in my heart when I was a Fourth grader. When I was in fourth grade, I became a scholar. I developed a passion for reading as my teacher read aloud to us every single day. I became a mathematician and loved to solve math story problems. I was the tallest of my class. I absolutely loved fourth grade, and I love it even more now!
My purpose as your child’s teacher is to help shape him or her as an active learner and member of society. I will do this by educating, respecting and motivating each one of my students.
